Jim Gentry
Jim was born in Granite, Oklahoma and
spent the first 20 years of his life in Granite and Oklahoma City. While in Oklahoma, he completed his education, spent some
time driving across the country, and decided
that California held the greatest opportunities.
He then settled in Southern California and worked the next 30 years as a
licensed contractor, building homes in the Los Angeles area and Hesperia,
California.
Retiring from his business, Jim and his wife Robyn, have lived in Green Valley since 1993, and are full time residences. Jim graduated in SAV Class 21, Dec. 1994. He has been Deputy Commander of SAV Field Operation Division for several years, and has been involved in the Tucson Bicycle Race, Emergence Response Team (ERT), and serves on the board.
