Green Valley Sheriff’s Auxiliary Volunteers

Carol Roskey

Green Valley at this time of year isn’t cold compared to much on the US but it has been cold enough for pipes to freeze.  A caller notified the Sheriff’s Auxiliary about water leaking at a neighbor’s house. When SAV checked the situation, they found a broken pipe with the owners not at home and the telephone temporarily disconnected.  If you are traveling, please arrange for someone to check your house, it could save you lots of time and money.

A Green Valley resident received a letter that was partially opened and the pictures of her grandchildren were missing.  The post office said the letter was sealed when they delivered it and to report it to the Sheriff’s office.

A man in Green Valley reported to SAV that an unknown male threw a large stick at the windshield of his front end loader that broke the windshield.  The damage was estimated to be about $1000.

SAV received a call from a Green Valley woman who had lost her driver’s license.  She had not used it in approximately one month.  She has obtained a duplicate license.  With identify theft high in Arizona, it is important to check on personal identification cards such as your driver’s license.
